Then using the same cable I started working with esp8266 no error popped up it had two options in PORT COM1 and COM4 I choose COM4 and I uploaded the blink code. Note: Windows PCs often have multiple Arduino IDE versions installed (portable and local installations). Same problem appear with esp8266 node mcu. After installing the ESP32 add-on, if you open the Arduino IDE and it fails to compile code to your ESP32 board, we recommend re-running the Arduino IDE ESP32 add-on intallation. i installed ch341 but it says the the drivers are preinstalled. I installed the drivers but whenever i plugged in the usb cable a notification pops up that the computer doesn't recognize the device. Your board is not connecting to Adafruit IO, but why Lets find out: First, check in config.h that you have the correct IOUSERNAME, IOKEY, WIFISSID. How to fix the Error To make your ESP32 board go into flashing/uploading mode automatically, you can connect a 10 uF electrolytic capacitor between the EN pin and GND. appears in the window but still an error (timeout.) occurs and code doesn't upload. The TX/RX Pins are going to regular Arduino digital pins so the Nano can communicate with the ESP8266-01 via Software Serial. There is a way to fix this once for all no need to hold down the BOOT/FLASH button anymore. when i was uploading the code i pressed the boot button when connecting. 32 i used arduino IDE it only showed COM1 in PORTS.
